What is Resveratrol?

Resveratrol was discovered because Scientists wanted to know why the French, who ate many fatty foods, had the lowest rate of heart disease and many related illnesses as compared with the rest of the world.

Turns out they drank red wine which contained Resveratrol.  Found in the skins of berries and grapes, Resveratrol was discovered to contain many health benefits.

Over the years Scientists have conducted many studies and have concluded that Resveratrol can prevent heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity and also is an antiaging agent reducing and actually disappearing fine lines and wrinkles.

With many environmental factors polluting our skin such as pollution, cigarette smoking, radiation and herbicides, it seems we now have a fighting chance.

Of course we can introduce antioxidant superfoods into our diet like fruits and vegetables, exercise more and drink plenty of water, but it’s nice to know we can reach for a pill supplement or antiaging skincream to get the same results.
